Join our fantastic line up of presenters and discussants as we focus on current research and challenges relating to the commercial determinants of health from the Global South, specifically, Burundi, Lebanon and South Africa. ICARA is proud to announce our success in receiving a Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) Research Collaboration Grant for 2024. Our project, which aligns with our aim to support research capacity strengthening across the globe in relation to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATOD) research, is entitled “Fostering Global South-Global North collaborations in alcohol research through enhancing the ICARA network”. Over the next year, we will enhance our website to function as a super networking tool for all our members, and conduct workshops that connects researchers from the Global South to the Global North.
