The 17th Annual INEBRIA (International Network on Brief Interventions for Alcohol and Other Drugs- www.inebria.net) conference is back this year and will take place in the form of a hybrid conference (with both online and in-person attendance) from 22nd September to 24th September 2021 in Goa, India.
We are retaining the theme of the conference from last year- “Setting new directions for Brief Interventions” which aims to shed light on the future of Brief Interventions (BIs) research, while examining the current landscape of BI research within the substance use field, and the barriers to implementation of existing research strategies. This conference will also focus on low resource settings due to their limited representation in BI research at a global scale, and taking advantage of the Conference’s LMIC setting.
We believe it would be a good opportunity for you to share your experience and research with other professionals working in the similar field. You can submit your abstracts (oral presentation, poster, symposia or workshop) using the online forms on our website bit.ly/INEBRIA2021 before 8th March, 2021 (5:00 pm IST). For further information, you can visit the conference and the network website: https://www.inebria2020goa.com/.
Note on COVID-19: Across the world there is understandable uncertainty and anxiety for travelling internationally because of the global COVID 19 pandemic. In light of this, the INEBRIA Organising and Scientific Committees are organising the 17th INEBRIA Conference as a hybrid event which will allow participants to attend the Conference in person in Goa, India or virtually via an online platform. You are requested to send us your Abstracts for consideration and register for the conference via the INEBRIA website.
